Job Description: |
- Make modification to existing linux flavors & Debian builds
- Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and availability of system resources
- Interface with different hardware
- Hardware Driver calls
- Analysis of issues or performance profiling in the firmware hardware/software in test environments or target host systems
Qualifications and Skills
- Very good understanding of linux concepts and boot loaders
- BS/BE degree in Computer Science/Electronic Engineering
- Proven skills in firmware development and embedded Linux
- Strong programming skills in C (Java is a plus)
- Linux Scripts experience will be a plus point
- Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review
- Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems
- Strong documentation and writing skills
